These concepts include the Alpha Ace Coupe, the rugged Jax coupe for off-road enthusiasts, the Wolf pickup truck and both the Saga sedan and Saga Estate. The latest addition is an entry-level variant of the Wolf.<br/><br/>Like many other Alpha Engine projects, this turntable is currently only available in the virtual world. But since the truck was first introduced, Alpha says Wolf has widened the skateboard chassis, allowing it to fit a larger battery pack. Little is known about this package, but it is expected to give the EV a range of 350 miles (563 km).<br/><br/>The base Wolf also features a simplified interior, showcasing a single infotainment screen alongside conventional gauges. Alpha also claims that the Wolf has improved its steel structure and that this base model will be upgraded with new wheels with 31-inch tires.<br/><br/>The rendered model featured in this video exudes serious retro vibes, especially with its whitewall tires, evoking memories of Japanese pickup trucks from the late 1970s and early 1980s, such as the 1980 Toyota Hilux.<br/><br/>Interestingly, the Alpha does not use Tesla's NACS charging port, unlike almost every other automaker producing electric vehicles for North America. Instead, it has a CCS port and will support DC fast charging. Alpha says the battery can charge up to 80% in 30-60 minutes; This figure probably varies depending on battery size.<br/><br/>No matter how interesting Wolf looks with its entry-level and off-road-oriented appearance, it is too early to say whether Wolf or another Alpha product will go into production. Building a single EV model requires an extraordinary amount of money, let alone building the six of the seven models Alpha hopes to make. Rick Woodbury from Spokane, Washington USA, is the president, founder and sole employee of ‘Commuter Cars.’ The carmaker’s flagship model is the 2005 super slim two-seater Tango T600, a high-performance electric car that preceded Tesla. Rick told us: “I started this company 21 years ago – it was based on an idea that I came up with in 1982.” He was inspired by the shocking traffic congestion he had to face on a daily basis. “I used to drive a Porsche from Beverly Hills to Hermosa Beach every day and the traffic was horrendous,” explained Rick. What really made Rick think about a solution was the fact that in most of the cars he would see in his commute were occupied by lone drivers. “I noticed that everybody around me was a single occupant in a car, taking up the whole lane,” Rick said. Living and working in Los Angeles also helped inspire Rick’s unique creation. “I thought, everyone wants to get from point A to point B efficiently, and in cities like Los Angeles there’s really no centre, there’s no hub, everybody goes everywhere,” explained Rick. For him, there is a simple solution, and that is reducing the width that vehicles take up on the road so that 2 can fit comfortably in a single lane. “I don’t think there’s any other answer except doubling lane capacity,” said Rick. With a length of 102 inches this micro car can be parked just about anywhere, just like you would with a motorbike. Rick said: “The length is the same width of a semi-truck so I can park perpendicular to the curb.”The selling point of this vehicle is that it can drive in-between cars better than any other car. “The coolest feature for me to that it can get through traffic faster than any car in history,” said Rick. Much like a motorbike, the Tango T500 can drive right up to the stop line of traffic lights.")

If Santa Cruz is more of an athletic athlete on the outside, he's become more of an A/V club nerd on the inside.<br/><br/>Santa Cruz now benefits from Hyundai's (optional) curved panoramic screen. It consists of a 12.3-inch instrument display behind the steering wheel and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen in the middle of the dashboard. Since this is a turntable, the automaker hasn't given up on buttons, and there's physical switchgear for frequently used audio and HVAC controls.<br/><br/>Matching the very large infotainment screen, the front panel is also slim and wide; vents appear to extend from door to door. The new steering wheel provides better control, and for rear-seat passengers, Hyundai added a center armrest with two cupholders.<br/><br/>2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz is Sportier on the Outside, Cowier on the Inside<br/>The truck comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and supports over-the-air updates. It's also equipped with Digital Key 2, a fingerprint scanner, Hyundai's in-car payment system, and Bluelink+ connected car technology.<br/><br/>While the interior and exterior were renewed, there was no change under the hood. Santa Cruz still comes with two engine options; 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 191 hp (142 kW / 194 PS) and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque, and a 2.5-liter turbo producing 281 hp. (210 kW / 285 PS) and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque. Both are connected to a lightly tuned eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The multi-disc hydraulic torque converter increases responsiveness and the downsized oil pump minimizes friction losses.<br/><br/>The naturally aspirated engine can tow up to 3,500 lbs (1,588 kg), while the 2.5-liter turbo can tow 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg) and comes standard with all-wheel drive.<br/><br/>For 2025, the Santa Cruz will be offered in new colors called Rockwood Green and Canyon Red. Medium Gray seating surfaces will also be available.
