A student 'fan video' I made for my thesis comprised of clips from Cruising (1980) starring Al Pacino as an undercover cop who goes into the gay S/M underworld of 1970s NY to catch a serial killer. The music is Blind (Serge Santiago Version) by Hercules and Love Affair. The video is meant to portray the anti-architectural spaces of the meat packing district's exteriors as well as the aestheticized interiors of the S/M sex clubs and other sexual landscapes within the city.
