Chris Roark, from California, has transformed a 1958 Chevrolet Impala after his previous show-winning car, called The Perfect Score, was destroyed in a crash. Chris told R.Rides: “The Perfect Score was a three time Lowrider Magazine show winner and, on our third title coming home, we were cut off and we got swiped over onto the embankment. The trailer came loose from our toe rig and the car was totalled. That loss, it was very, very tough.” After the accident the other members of the Traditional car club encouraged Chris to create another car in honour of The Perfect Score. From there, The Final Score was born. The impressive lowrider was customised in every way possible with Chris estimating there is close to 600 custom machine parts in the car. This included the door handles, which were shaped for pop doors. The interior was made with full leather ostrich skin, with custom logos engraved on the seats. And everything matches, with the whole engine was engraved to match the outer pinstripe paint. Even the motor was customised, a LS1 that came out of a mid-80s Corvette. Chris told R.Rides: “When I look at the Final Score, I see engineering, craftsmanship and detail.” Despite the success of the original lowrider, Chris’s fans weren’t immediately approving of his new build. Chris explained: “A lot of people didn't take to it when it first came out. They were like, ‘What is this?, this doesn't look good, what are the colours that are mixing?’ “But a couple years went by and now you start to see a lot of people starting to entertain all these different colours.” The lowrider has built up a legion of fans, but will Chris continue building these cars? He said: “It’s tough as you get older, you slow down. I have my son and my nephew that are young guns and they've been keeping the fire under me to keep me going.” Chris’s son, Chris Jr is now leading the next generation of car customizers. Chris Jr told us: “My favourite part of the low rider is when you could get in it and drive, put the top down, just have fun. And they're different, they're unique, not everyone likes low riders, but everyone has their own different tastes. I just like to be behind the wheel and feel the creation of building something that’s unique like this.”")

This was when Becky lived with Eric & Rickie and Amberlynn lived in the apartment she shared with Destiny, and Destiny was now living with Dana. Since Amberlynn's pets might not have been allowed to go to Becky's house, and because Eric & Rickie lived in another town, the two might have been considering finding a place together on their own, maybe closer to the big city. It seems like it would have been a better idea than what's to come...<br/>One night when Becky was at Amberlynn's house, Hannah & Rafe went to Eric & Rickie's to hangout. The weird thing about this is that Eric & Rickie claim they weren't friends with Hannah & Rafe and Rafe says she overestimated how close of friends she thought they were. So the gathering at the house that night seems to have been to have a talk about Becky's new gorlfriend session in the basement. During the evening Rafe & Hannah, mostly Rafe, opened up to Eric & Rickie about their true assessment of Amberlynn. During this time Rafe let slip that the two were planning on finding a place together. When Eric confronted Becky & Amberlynn about Rafe saying Becky was moving out, he also told them what she was saying about Amberlynn. Becky & Amberlynn get mad at Rafe & Hannah for letting the idea of Becky moving slip and focus on the fact that Rafe said she didn't like Amberlynn. Eric claims he said he didn't know Amberlynn, not that he didn't like her, so he was let off the hook, but also because Eric & Amberlynn didn't know each other as well as Amberlynn & Rafe did at the time.<br/><br/>Amberlynn claims that Rafe is lying about Becky possibly moving out, denying that anything of the sort was ever said. I don't think Becky & Amberlynn wanted Eric & Rickie to know they were possibly finding their own place together, turning the fight into what Rafe said about Amberlynn to deflect from Eric and Rickie finding out the possible truth. Not wanting Becky to move out, or the heat for telling them what Rafe said, Eric & Rickie sided with Becky & Amberlynn.<br/><br/>Rafe went live on her own YouNow and told her side of the story. Then Amberlynn did the same while at Becky's and Eric & Rickie tell their sides too. Crime scene: Suermondt-Ludwig Museum at Aachen, Germany. Aachen always is a enchanting place to visit with its Aachener Printen and of course to follow Charlemagne’s footsteps. They are scattered all over the place and imprinted in the Aachener Dom and the Aachen Cathedral Treasury (Domschatzkammer). When in Aachen I never went to the very museum before. It resides at the outskirts of the old centre and it is not a logical place to visit except for special exhibitions. And so there was one! Never before were there so many of his works in one place after he died. Do you want to know a secret? I was a little bit jealous of his drawing skills. How was he able to draw such thin lines?<br/><br/>Aachener Dom<br/><br/>Before visiting the museum we went for a little stroll around the cathedral, also not to miss out on those Printen! Walking full circle there it presented itself: a lovely side view I remembered from earlier trips in 1991 and 2004. Dürer’s works still messing with my head I recalled he did a drawing of the cathedral too (in 1520) I could see from his drawing he held a higher vantage point and farther away. The fun part is it looks exactly the same 500 years ago as it still stands today. There was a bigger tower on the Palatine Chapel though.<br/><br/>Artistic Approach<br/><br/>Surely I had to do my best because, compared to Dürer’s works, I have broad shoulders to stand on. Studying his very drawing I saw he had a rather linear approach. That is where I could beat him at his game. He did not know anyting about impressionism and so I rendered my graphite pencil drawing in this style. It is a perfect way to suggest lots of details without actually having to depict them. Throwing in details is a precarious matter anyway and easily leads to a messy impression. The sun was just above the cathedral’s nave and so the mass of the architecture appeared dusky anyway. It was perfect for my impressionistic aim.<br/><br/>The Suggestion of Lots of Details<br/><br/>With the refined graphite pencil techniques of Geesje Kwak – 08-10-21 still in my fingers this one was not very difficult. It took a lot of time though. Many people would think drawing all those details takes pain staking skills. Actually it is the absence of details and only the suggestion of them that is difficult. What is need is a subtle draftswork in order to keep an even tonality all across the building structure. That takes time and muscle control.<br/><br/>Abul-Abbas<br/><br/>Low and Behold! On the actual square in front of the cathedral I thought I saw Abul-Abbas, Charlemagne’s elephant for a moment. What I liked about those Germans the most is that they worship their Elephant God.")
